David
Hanselman is the son of Alan Hanselman, owner of the
Schnitzelbank Restaurant in Jasper. David is
currently attending Purdue University, majoring in
Hospitality and Tourism Management.
Andrew
Hemmerlein is the nephew of Jim Bounds, owner of
Mac-A-Doos in Jasper. Andrew is enrolled at
Purdue University's School of Engineering.
Morgan Viars is the daughter of Jeff Viars, owner
of Scooter's Bar & Grill in Newcastle.
Morgan is currently attending Indiana University East
in Richmond, and is pursuing a degree in Psychology.
The three scholarship recipients will be awarded
$1000 each. Congratulations to all, and the best
of luck!
Applications for next year will have a deadline of
February 29, 2008. Qualifications for the
scholarships include: applicant must be an employee,
relative, or owner of an ILBA member establishment;
applicant must maintain a 3.0 GPA; applicant must
maintain community involvement; and applicant must
attend an Indiana college or university.
