ILBA LEGISLATIVE AGENDA 2010-11
1) Oppose any statewide smoking bans that includes bars where you must be 21 or older.
2) Promote uniform enforcement of penalties for minors on premise, like drivers license revocation and mandatory fines for employees that sell to minors without requiring ID.
3) Support re-inserting the original language into the Type II Gaming legislation that would allow raffles in Taverns.
4) Support voluntary purchase and educational efforts of Liquor Liability Insurance while opposing legislation of a mandatory requirement of such.
5) Support restricting the sale of alcohol at below cost.
6) Oppose sale of COLD beer and wine at grocery and convenience stores.
7) Oppose any new or increased taxes on, alcohol, cigarettes, or local food and beverages.
8) Continued protection of the quota system.
9) Continued protection of the three tier system.
